Steve Myott is a performance artist, storyteller, teacher, stiltwalker, mask maker, and puppeteer who has spent six summers working with the renowned Bread and Puppet Theater. His masks and puppets have been used in parades, performances and special events across the country.
See Kermit the Frog, a marionette control, and Mr. Punch fly through the air! Alex has been honing his skills for twenty years specializing in juggling dissimilar, random objects and weaving them into a story. He will be juggling the history of puppetry before your very eyes.

Mountain Marionettes takes a step back to the time of poodle skirts, bobby socks and saddle shoes. This production includes audience participation as well as some of your favorite marionette variety acts. You will recognize music such as “The Purple People Eater” and “The Martian Hop”, even if you didn’t run home every afternoon to watch American Bandstand or be part of the Peanut Gallery.

Empire Strikes Brass is a New Orleans style brass band bringing funk, rock, and a lot of energy to city streets and beyond. They are a gumbo of musicians from bands such as the Squirrel Nut Zippers, Firecracker Jazz Band, Common Foundation, and Kung Fu Dynamite.

Red Herring Puppets perform their rhymed version of the classic tales with original music and large tabletop puppets. These timeless stories are simple to understand and address topics such as bullying, selfishness, competition, ingenuity, and the affirmation that little beings can achieve great things. Aesop’s Fables was awarded an UNIMA citation, the highest honor in American Puppetry.

Whee Ahh Faerie Kin is a troupe of mythical, elemental, magical beings who love to glee-fully frolic, romp and fly in search of other beings who want to play. On stilts and with handmade art costumes and props, they surround folks with magic, heart-full songs (singing and playing instruments), sacred bells, faerie mist, silk scarves, and other enchanting delights.
